Here you can see all of my gear. Wich i'll be using for all of my photo & video projects. For those Interested in knowing everything I use here is a detailed explanation:
( This is not professional top of the line equipment, there is not even 2000$ in this gear, as it may seem a lot, it isnt. But superb results can be achieved with the proper techniques and ideas )
Camera:
Nikon D3300: Great Camera, Entry Level DSLR, with amazing capabilities. The good thing about this one is the fact that the low pass filter was eliminated, and produces sharp pictures. Also the Image Procesor is updated, is the Nikon EXPEED 4.
( When it comes to cameras, its better to have a decent body, and good lenses according to your budget, than having a super body, and crappy lenses)
When you see, the results I Achieve with this camera, you will go nuts. Its all about the technique, good optics, and the photographer.
Attached to the camera on the bottom, is the battery Grip Vello BG N12, i buyed this one because it didn't include generic batteries and it was more expensive alone, meaning the quality of the product was better. Additionally i purchased to Original Nikon EN-EL14a Batteries. This combo gives you aditional GRIP, Good weight, Double Battery life and of course... A Bad Ass look for your Camera !!
Lenses:
Nikon 55-300mm f.4.5 - 5.6 : I chose this lens, had a great price and covered a wide zoom range, so far i've had it for 2 years and quality is perfect, no failures, no defects. Great for outdoor shooting in good light, For bad lighting this is not a good lens, well the f.stop is too narrow and doesnt let much light in. Remember, good for outdoors and good light, in potraits generates beautiful background blur when highly zoomed.
Nikon 18-55mm VR II F3.5 - 5.6 : This lens is super sharp, portable, and light. I Use it only to take advantage of the 18mm focal distance, for landscapes or big things. Otherwise its very limited, its just a kit lens, but for now to keep my investing at minimum its very useful for the widest angle posible on my lens set.
Nikon 50mm 1.8G : This is the Rockstar of my lenses, no zoom, you zoom with your feet. The apperture is so wide, that its works beautifuly in any lighting conditions you face. Produces Sharp Bicture, and beautiful Blur, and Bokeh ( out of focus blured figures ) and makes you learn how to compose better. You have to move a lot, and try many things. Unique lens for portraits and well, whatever you can think to use it for.
Accesories:
Flash Speedlite Yongnuo 560iii: This is a manual Flash, meaning: you have to set the power yourself, everything, all by yourself, but it is incredibly powerful, good built, and handy, also the most important, cheap. It does the same as a Nikon Flash, but its manual and costs 5 times less.
Yongnuo RF 603 : This is the wireless Trigger, allows me to shoot my flash away from my camera, and to use it also as a remote.
Transced SDHC Cards Class 10: This Cards are class 10 ( meaning faster speeds when working ) , 32 GB I have 3 of them , never, never, run out of memory.
Velbon 540 EX: Excellent Tripod ! Cheap, has bubble levels, and its made of metal and plastic, so far in this 2 years, never given me a single problem.
Western Digital Passport 1 TB: This external Portable hard drive helps me keep back up and when traveling, i move files from memory cards to the drive to empty them. Also i keep back up from all my PC files from work here.
Adobe Lightroom 5: There is not much i can say from this software, just the best for downloading, organizing, editing and processing all your RAW camera Files.
This is all my gear, please remember, im not trying to sell you the best top of the line gear, this is exclusively what i have, and what i own. And I Produce excellent work with this! So If you like photography, this is a Superb Startert Kit that will do work for you a long time.
